Ordering We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this. You may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of any content. The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment. We reserve the right not to accept any order. All goods are offered subject to availability.
Pricing & Availability All prices are inclusive of UK VAT. Promotional offers and prices are as stated, with no further discounts available. Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. All goods are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. Where an end date is specified on any offer on the website, it is intended as a guide only. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. We retain the right to cancel an order and credit it in full. Goods supplied remain Claughton Catering Ltd property until payment has been received.
Delivery We may use an independent courier. The courier will attempt to deliver twice. Your order will be returned to our warehouse if they have not been collected from the courier 3 days after the second delivery attempt, and we reserve the right to pass on the cost of redelivery in this event. Please note we currently only deliver to addresses within mainland UK. The signatory must be over the age of 18 to sign for the delivery. We currently have a 10kg limit on orders. We dispatch orders Monday to Friday. Your order will be dispatched the same day if placed before 12.00pm (during busy periods this may not always be possible). If placed after this time it will be dispatched the next working day. Payment You can have full confidence that our online ordering service is fully secure. All credit card transactions are processed using the highly secure payment gateway, PayPal, and your credit card details are never stored anywhere on our servers. Once you reach the order process, you will notice the web address at the top of the page will change to begin with https://www instead of http://www. This is a sign that you are entering a secure site.
Cancellations or Complaints As you are entering into a distance selling contract, you may cancel your order at any time from the point of placing the order until 14 working days after the day the goods are delivered. If you wish to cancel please notify us in writing at Charlie’s, 14th Century Cottage, Fore Street, Tintagel, Cornwall, PL34 0DA. or by using our contact form. Please note that a charge may be made to cover the cost of collecting goods in the event of a cancelled order that has already been delivered. We retain the right to cancel an order and credit it in full if a payment does not meet the requirements of our stringent security checks. We will provide a full refund or replacement for any items that are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. We will require faulty items to be returned to us.
